The gilded birdcage, where the bird outside desires to dwell within, and the bird inside yearns to fly away; resembles the besieged castle, where those inside yearn to escape, while those outside strive to storm in. Thus, there is a perpetual interplay of connection and separation, without resolution. Forever dwelling in a state of eternal perplexity and predicament, it persists.
