Book of Light
"The Book of Light" made by light.

What is it that we perceive and understand when we sense and recognize the existence of light through our visual system? Is it light itself, or is it the representation of light within our visual system? This question led me to create a book about light.
The process of creating this book about light involved using a powerful laser to illuminate pages of content with light. Each page of content about light was illuminated by light, being "enlightened" or "inspired" by it. Throughout this process, the result of light was accomplished by the process of light, leaving behind traces of its path and suggesting that the existence of light in space is a tangible entity with visibility. Ultimately, this entity formed a new space for light within the book.
Light is not merely a physical entity but also the source of vision, manifested in both wave and particle forms. Waves and particles can be perceived as the two ontological forms of light, representing both its existence and the manner in which it exists. The wave characteristic of light can be seen as its mode of existence, while the particle characteristic can be seen as its ontological presence. Therefore, light can be regarded as a unity of both existence and its mode of being. This notion prompts me to reflect further; in East Asian Buddhist doctrines, the term "form" (色 in Chinese) is used to denote the material world, as in the well-known phrase from the Heart Sutra: "Form is emptiness, emptiness is form." If the visible world of light is essentially empty, then this world is as immaterial as light itself. and vice-versa.
